Ingredients with quantities
- 1 cup 8 ounce/240g unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
- 1.25 cups (9 oz/260g) white sugar
- 1 cup (7oz/200g) packed light brown sugar
- 4 eggs at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vanilla extract
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (130g) all purpose flour
- 1 cup (100g) good quality unsweetened cocoa powder
- 7 oz (200g) chopped chocolate in a rough manner or large chocolate chips
Method
Arrange all these ingredients of given quantity and follow the method given below.
- Melt the butter and add chocolate, sugar and eggs.
- Mix them very well
- Then add cocoa powder, salt and flour
- After that add vanilla and mix them well
- Now pour the concoction into a pan of size 8 x 12 inches.
- Oven may be pre-heated at 170 degrees for 15 minutes
- Bake for 23 minutes for extra gooey brownies and 27 minutes for fudgy brownies.
- Let them cool and cut equal squares
